Investment Professionals & MBA Candidates
GTCR annually recruits pre-MBA Associates who are independent thinkers willing to venture beyond the obvious. GTCR’s associates take an active role in researching and evaluating new investment opportunities, identifying management partners, executing new deals and working with portfolio companies.
GTCR’s Associates typically have two to four years of investment banking, consulting or private equity experience. They must demonstrate resourcefulness, quantitative and analytical skills, the ability to work independently and good people skills.
GTCR views the Associate position as a key training ground for future partners. Our Associate Program is designed to develop deal execution skills, sourcing skills and investment judgment. GTCR also has an exceptional track record in sending Associates to top business school programs including Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, University of Chicago and Kellogg.
