GTCR Named One of Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For
August 6, 2013
GTCR, a leading private equity firm, was honored at an awards luncheon yesterday by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) as one of Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in 2013. Craig Bondy, GTCR managing director, accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
“We are honored to be recognized by the NABR,” said Mr. Bondy. “As a firm, we have invested a lot of time and energy to develop and implement best practices in all areas of our human resources programs. This recognition means a lot to everyone at GTCR.”
“The selection, recognition and awarding of this year’s 101 companies allows our organization to showcase their best practices,” said Jennifer Kluge, president of NABR. “The honorees have clearly demonstrated why each of them would be an ideal place for employees to work. Companies that capitalize on their greatest resource—their employees—know how to attract and retain top talent. We are proud to honor this year’s winners.”
NABR annually recognizes companies that excel at employee relations, use innovation to motivate employees and implement creative compensation programs. An independent research firm evaluates entries based on a number of key measures including communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, employee education, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, recruitment and selection, and work-life balance.
