James joined GTCR in 2007 as a Vice President. He previously served as a Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Group at Goldman Sachs, where he worked from 2002 to 2007.  James holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with distinction, as well as a BBA in Finance and Accounting with highest honors from the Honors Business Program at the University of Texas. He is part of the Debt Capital Markets group, where he focuses on GTCR’s debt financing activities for both new and existing investments and has been involved in a variety of GTCR investments, including Actient Pharmaceuticals, ATI Physical Therapy, Classic Media, Curo Health Services, Devicor Medical Products, Global Traffic Network, Mondee, Sorenson Communications, Sterigenics and Wallace Theater.
