Ben joined GTCR in 2008 as a Vice President. Prior to joining GTCR, he worked as a venture capitalist at Alta Partners, as well as an investment banking Associate at JMP Securities and an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at J.P. Morgan (formerly Hambrecht & Quist). He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in History magna cum laude from Colgate University. Ben also holds a Masters degree in Biotechnology from the School of Applied Sciences & Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He currently is a director of Actient Pharmaceuticals, Sterigenics and GeneraMedix and also works extensively with Devicor Medical Products.
