Dave joined GTCR in 1991 and became a Principal in 1993.  Prior to joining GTCR, he worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company.  Dave holds an MBA from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and Robichek Finance Award winner, and a BA in Economics summa cum laude from Yale University.

Dave is co-head of the Financial Services & Technology Group at GTCR. He is currently a director of AssuredPartners, Boomerang Media, Ironshore, Protection 1, Sterigenics, Telecom Lease Advisors and Wallace Theater. Dave was previously a director of past GTCR investments such as Cambridge Protection, Coinmach, Gensar, HSM Electronic Protection Services, Polypore, Prime Succession and Syniverse.

Dave also actively invests in the community as a Vice President of the Board and Member of the Capital Campaign Cabinet for the Countryside School in Champaign, Illinois.
