Barry joined GTCR in 2000 to help lead the mezzanine debt investment activity of Capital Partners. He became a Principal and the head of the Debt Capital Markets group in 2006. Previously, Barry was with Banc of America Securities and Bankers Trust Company. He holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BA in Economics from Washington and Lee University. He currently is a director of BNY ConvergEx and previously served as a director of TransFirst.
